You may have noticed a new button appearing on the menu?
This will be a place where you can connect/reconnect with people from the dog world. Of course, your privacy is important to us – so your profile is hidden from the “Member Directory” by default.
If you want to be visible to others in the Member Directory; first, make sure you are logged in, then go to your Account Privacy page and change the “Hide my profile from directory” to “No”. As shown below.
Note – If you make a public comment on a post etc. people can see your profile from that comment.
You will see lots of awesome new features available in My Account and Social, such as:
- Making friend requests
- Direct messaging other users
- Posting comments and pictures on your wall
- Tagging people
- Liking and commenting on your friends posts
- Creating photo albums and uploading photos
- Notifications of social activity
If you choose to make your profile visible in the member directory you will be able to make the most of theses features.
