John is the author of no fewer than eight books, has produced two DVDs and has run courses and lectures on training and behaviour worldwide. He is widely considered to be a world leading authority on Canine behaviour. He has been an expert witnesses in many court cases and made numerous appearances on television across the globe.

John is a founder member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors, is the founder of Support Dogs and a founder member of the Kennel Club accreditation scheme for dog trainers and behaviourists.
John has now semi-retired from the world of animal behaviour.
